Conditions of Entry
Paintings
·         Open theme (no categories): in soft pastel, hard pastel,oil pastel, pastel pencil; these can be used with mixed media. NB: majority of painting must be in pastel. 
·         All work must be the original work of the artist (works from a class, workshop or copied from published material are ineligible for entry).
General
·         Open to financial members of PANZ only.
·         Entry fee $20.00 per work (non-refundable). Maximum of two works per member.  
·         Exhibited works will be selected from entries received.    Winners will be determined by judges chosen by the organising committee. Their decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
·         Exhibited works may be photographed and used for promotional purposes by PANZ. 
·         To assist PANZ to showcase various works from the Exhibition on its website, please note in the space provided on the Entry Form if digital images of your submitted work, preferably taken before framing, are available for this purpose.
·         All work to remain on display and no alteration to catalogue price until close of exhibition.  
·         All work must be for sale. Sales will attract a 25% commission.
Awards
·         1 x First Prize                    $600 + set Schminke pastels + Unison Colour Cup (and miniature)
·         1 x Highly Commended    $300 + set Sennelier pastels
·         4 x Merit prizes                           + set Unison pastels each
·         1 x People’s Choice                   + goods to value of $100 (People’s Choice will run for duration of                                                                                                     Exhibition)
Presentation
·         All works to be professionally framed and ready for hanging with folding D-hooks, cord or wire. Any works not up to standard will not be hung. NOTE:  Please place D rings 75mm from top of frame.
·         All works must be clearly labelled on the back, and also on a swing tag, with name, contact details, title and price.
Packaging and delivery
·         Packaging must be reusable and well labelled with name and address.
·         Freight and insurance during transit is the responsibility of the artist.
·         Where works are couriered, either include a paid return freight ticket in an envelope attached to outside of package or arrange a courier contact number (they all have different systems).
